Khaman/chhundo is the mixture of grated mangoes with sugar and red chilli powder. This pickle makes the best pair with the Thepla in every Gujarati household.

Ingredients

કેરી (mango), ખાંડ (sugar), લાલ મરચું (Red Chilli powder).

Instruction

Use fresh dry spoon to take the pickle out.

Store in a cool and dry Place.

This Pickle has the aroma of mangoes and best quality of spices. It is 100% homemade and prepared using traditional methods just like our dadi and nani used to make.

Traditionally this pickle is made over the course of few days as Mangoes are first grated. Then the salt is added and soaked in sun so all the water is drained out. Then spices are mixed in and pickle is made.

It is quite natural that as pickles matures takes darker shades. In all the pickles we have not used any preservatives so you just enjoy having it without worrying about quality of an ingredients.
